Starting high school, I told my parents I wanted to be a nurse. I remember my mother saying I’d have to get a stronger stomach (she knew me very well). I’m now sitting in my 9th grade biology class and we’re getting into our groups to start dissecting little baby pigs. My turn to make an incision on that little baby pig was the moment I knew the health field was ABSOLUTELY not for me. I did what was expected, hating every minute. So thanks, Mr. Yoder, for setting me straight on my career path.
